Choosing one of your linked devices to be your trusted one is nice and easy:
- While on your preferred device, tap ‘Account’ → ‘Privacy and Security’ → ‘Devices Management’ in the Altery app.
- Press ‘Make current device trusted’.
- You’ll see a pop-up window confirming that you’d like to make this device the trusted one.
- Follow the instructions to review this on the current trusted device and tap ‘Confirm’ to make the switch.
Once that’s all sorted, you’ll get a notification for the successful update. Consider it an affirmation of your technical expertise.
Can’t access your trusted device?
No problem. Tap on the ‘Didn’t receive anything’ button on the authorisation confirmation screen. You may need to complete an identification process; follow the on-screen instructions, just don’t close the app or stop the process until it’s finished.
