It can be easy to get mixed up between “linked” and “trusted” devices. Here’s a brief overview of the terms, and how they differ from each other:

• Trusted device: Provides an extra layer of security for your Altery account. Receive notifications to confirm account activity, such as financial operations and logging in.
• Linked device: After verifying your first log in on a new device, linking it allows you to log in to your Altery account without needing to authorise the action on a trusted device.

You can manage your trusted and linked devices in your account via ‘Account’ → ‘Privacy & security’ → ‘Device Management’.
