Below is an overview of how your Altery business account fees work, from the opening fee to the monthly service charge. You can check what fees are applicable to your Altery account on our Fees page.

Account opening fee

• The opening fee is applied when your account is created, but it’s only deducted after the first funds arrive.

• You’ll see the fee listed in your account as “pending” until the first incoming payment is credited.

• The fee is charged once only, at the start of your account relationship.

Monthly service fee

• The first monthly fee is also applied when your account is created, and it's only deducted once your funds arrive.

• You'll then be charged the fee on a monthly basis. 

• If your account doesn't have funds when a fee is due, the charge will remain pending until your next incoming payment.
