What’s an Altery card?

Updated

Altery issues cards powered by two major payment networks: Visa and UnionPay.

Altery Visa cards

We proudly launched our first card product in cooperation with Wallester, Wallester AS (11812882), registered office at F. R. Kreutzwaldi 4, 10120 Tallinn, Estonia, and VISA in July 2023.

In May 2025, we became the principal member of Visa, so since then, part of our cards have been issued under our own principal membership, while the cards previously issued with Wallester remain active.

The Altery Card, a VISA card, is available in EUR, USD, and GBP currencies.

Altery UnionPay cards

With the UnionPay card, Altery has become a member of the UnionPay system, meaning we directly issue the cards without partnering with a third-party company.

The Altery UnionPay card is available in EUR, USD, and GBP. Currently, we offer these cards both as virtual and physical. Please note that limits and special conditions may apply; find out more here:
