First PIN Activation

To fully unlock your Altery card, you'll need to activate the PIN:

• Promo card - To activate your promo card, enter the PIN at an ATM by withdrawing cash or checking your balance.
• Physical debit card - Activate your debit card by making any Chip & PIN transaction in-store.

Once your PIN is activated, you'll be able to make contactless and Chip & PIN payments.

Updating your PIN

Each time you change your Altery card's PIN, you'll need to re-activate it at an ATM. Here's how to change your PIN:

1. Find your card in our mobile app or web portal and update your PIN.
2. Enter the PIN at an ATM by withdrawing cash or checking your balance.

All set. Now you can use your Altery card again for contactless and Chip & PIN payments.
