How do I freeze or defrost my Altery card?

To keep your funds safe, follow these simple steps to freeze and defrost your Altery card:

  1. Visit the ‘Cards’ section of your Altery account.
  2. Tap ‘Freeze’, just below the card image. From then, no operations will happen through that card.
  3. When you’re ready to use the card again, tap ‘Defrost’.

 

If you ever want to permanently block your Altery card, here's what you need to do: 

  1. Visit the ‘Cards’ section of your Altery account.
  2. Tap on 'Settings'. 
  3. Scroll down to the 'Management' section and choose 'Close card'. 
  4. Select a reason for closing your card and confirm the action.
  5. Once the card is closed, you can get a replacement or continue without a card.
