How to make a data protection complaint?

At Altery, we take the protection of personal data seriously. If you believe your personal data has been handled incorrectly, or you are not satisfied with the way we have dealt with a data protection matter, you can submit a complaint free of charge.

Before you raise a complaint

If your request is about your account, a service issue, or something that can be solved by our Support team, please contact us first. In many cases, we can help without the need for a formal complaint.

How to submit a complaint

You can submit a data protection complaint by using our website complaint form or by emailing our Privacy Team at complaints@altery.com

What to include

To help us review your complaint, please include as much of the following as you can:

  • your full name;
  • the email address linked to your Altery account, if applicable;
  • a clear explanation of your concern;
  • any relevant dates, screenshots, or other supporting information.

You do not need to use a specific template for us to treat your message as a complaint.

What happens next

Once we receive your complaint, we will review the information you have provided and may contact you if we need more details.

We will investigate your complaint in line with applicable data protection laws and our internal procedures.

If you are not satisfied with our response

If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may have the right to contact your local data protection authority.
