Accidentally sent money to the wrong account? Don’t worry, it happens. To resolve the situation, it’s best to contact our customer support team as quickly as possible. There are two likely outcomes:
- If the money was sent to an existing Altery customer, we’ll act on your behalf and reach out to the customer.
- If you accidentally paid someone else, the recipient will only be sent an invitation to open an account with us. Provided the individual doesn’t create and verify an Altery account within 30 calendar days, or the details don’t exist at all, the funds will be automatically returned to you. Should they create the account and receive the money, we’ll reach out and take action.
