Simply put, internal payments are transfers made directly between Altery customers. A perk of being part of our community is the ability to swiftly and securely send money to other Altery customers. You can do this with their mobile number or unique AlteryID.
Here’s how to make an internal transfer:
- Click ‘Send’ and enter the recipient's phone number or AlteryID. Then, click ‘Next’.
- Choose the transaction of the currency and enter the transaction amount. You also have the option to make a comment on the transaction at the bottom of the screen.
- Click ‘Transfer’ and then ‘Confirm’ after reviewing the transaction details.
It can take a few minutes to process the payment. If you haven’t received confirmation of the transaction, please contact us.
If the recipient details you enter don’t currently match with an Altery account, we’ll send them an invitation to open an account with us. If the recipient has registered but not yet verified their account, they’ll need to complete the verification process to access their funds. If they don’t register within 14 calendar days, we’ll return the funds to your account.
