How can I receive a bank transfer?

You can receive bank wire transfers through the following channels:

  • SEPA system (in EUR from SEPA countries)
  • Faster Payments (in GBP from UK banks)
  • SWIFT system (in EUR/USD/GBP)*

There aren’t currently any limits for incoming transfers to your Altery account. Click the ‘Add money’ tab and select ‘Regular bank transfer’. Use these details to top up your Altery account from another bank or share them to receive payments from other people.

 

In your personal area, there are three types of bank details you can use to receive transfers:

 

  1. EUR account details to receive money in EUR: Click on ‘Within Europe’ to find the bank details for receiving a transfer via SEPA. This will come to our company account, so make sure that the sender indicates your AlteryID in the payment details. If you choose ‘Outside Europe’, these bank details are for receiving an international transfer via the SWIFT system.
  2. GBP account details to receive money in GBP: Choose ‘Within the UK’ to receive money via Faster Payments systems, or click ‘Outside the UK’ to receive an international transfer in GBP via the SWIFT system.
  3. USD account details. Use these to receive money internationally via the SWIFT system.
