If you’re looking to get started with Altery, the quickest way to register an account is to click 'Open an account' on the top right of our website, scan the QR code, and follow the instructions!

However, if you feel as though you need an extra bit of help, no worries, we’ve got you. The process starts with the ‘Choose Account Type’ window, select ‘Personal’ and click ‘Next’. Remember, once you’ve registered an account, you won’t be able to change the account type. Ready? Let’s go.

Contact details

• Enter your email address. Then, review and agree with the associated terms and conditions.
• Click ‘Next’ to confirm your email address. We’ll send you an email containing a button to verify your email address. Please click the button on the same device that you’re registering with. If you’re struggling to find an email in your inbox, try your spam folder.
• Enter your phone number and click ‘Next’. Press ‘Call me’ and we’ll give you a ring to verify your number. No need to answer it, you just need to use the last four digits of the caller number as the one-time confirmation code. Enter these four digits in the ‘Mobile number confirmation’ field.
• If you didn’t get the call, you can either request another one by pressing ‘Call me again’ or request an SMS containing a one-time confirmation code instead. To do this, click on ‘Send SMS’.

• In this step, we’ll ask for your country of residence, full name, and date of birth. Please enter these details exactly as they appear on your primary identification document.

After that, you’re all set! Your AlteryID, the unique account number, will be displayed on your screen. All that’s left is to verify your account by clicking ‘Go’ on the relevant icons.
