Providing evidence of your residential address is an important part of our verification process. We accept the following documents:
- Utility bills
- Home insurance documents
- Municipal tax bills
- Income tax documents
- Government department statements
- Bank statements, except statements from neo-banks
Your proof of address document must have been issued within the last 6 months.
Please make sure that:
- Your full name is shown in the document
- Your full residential address is shown, including the city
- The document’s issue date is visible
- The document is issued in your name
- The file is no larger than 50 MB
- The file is in JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF format
- You upload the original document, not a screenshot
- The document contains security features where applicable, such as a barcode, QR code, official seal or authorised signature
In some cases, we may also ask you to provide a residence permit or complete a government database verification (GDV) check. GDV is used together with proof of address and does not replace it.
Please keep in mind that each document can only be used once during the verification process, either as proof of identity (POI) or proof of address (POA). For example, if you’ve used your ID as proof of identity, it can’t be used again as proof of address, even if it contains your address details.
