Getting started with crypto services with us is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps to enable crypto transactions on your account.

Steps to start using crypto services

Open an Altery account – If you haven’t already, sign up and complete the verification process.
Add money via crypto – In your account, go to ’Add Money’ and select ‘Crypto’ as the funding method.
Accept Synterra Connect terms & conditions – Before proceeding, you’ll need to review and accept the Synterra Connect T&C to enable crypto services.
Start transacting – Once enabled, you can deposit crypto and exchange it to fiat.

Can’t see the crypto option?

If the crypto option is not available in your account, certain services may be restricted based on eligibility criteria: industry and country. Contact our customer support team, and we’ll check your account to assist you further.

Cryptoassets are high-risk and may not be right for everyone. The value of your crypto can go up or down at any time and may even fall to zero. You should only invest if you fully understand the risks and if it suits your financial situation. Funds used for crypto transactions are not safeguarded and are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service.
