If you’re one of the lucky few who got their hands on an Altery promo card, congratulations! In this article, we’ll run through the process of activating your card so that you can get started.

The first step, if you haven’t already done this, is to register and get verified with Altery. For more information on setting up an Altery account, check out this section of our help centre. 

If you’re starting from scratch, there will be a button inviting you to activate your promo card after the verification process. Already in? No problem, just visit your account settings and find the ‘Promo cards’ tab or look for the ‘Got a promo card?’ prompt on the ‘My cards’ page.

To begin the activation process, enter the card number and click ‘Next’. Then, create a PIN for in-store purchases and ATM use. After this, set a card password for online payments. You’ll see a screen confirming the successful card activation.

Please note that, from this point, you’ll be able to use your promo card for online transactions and link it to Apple Pay or Google Pay. However, to activate the card for in-person use, visit an ATM and withdraw cash or simply check your balance to activate the card’s PIN code. Once that’s done, your promo card will be fully activated and ready for use.
