How can I close my account?

We’re sorry to hear that you’d like to close your Altery account. We have a couple of options to request an account closure:

 

Web portal:

  1. Open the menu and click on the gear icon in the top right corner
  2. In the Accounts section, click ‘Account Closure’
  3. Select a reason for closing your account
  4. Confirm the request by entering your passcode and clicking on ‘Close Account’

 

Altery app:

  1. Open the menu and tap on the person icon in the bottom left corner
  2. On the menu, tap 'Account'
  3. Choose the ‘Close Account’ option, select a reason for closing your account and tap ‘Close account’
  4. Confirm the request by entering your passcode and clicking on ‘Confirm’

 

We’ll get back to you within 2 working days notifying you of the account closure. Before closing your account, please settle any outstanding payments and ensure that your balance sits at zero. Otherwise, we’ll remind you when we review your request.
